Louise & Dean met at college through events with her sorority and his fraternity. They were married June 28, 2014.
Louise wore a strapless wedding gown with lace overlay and a full skirt. Her Steve Madden shoes were champagne lace. The bride’s hair was worn in an up-do while a pearl necklace enhanced the look. For a sprinkle of color, the bride carried a bouquet of pink and white flowers with pearl and diamond centers. Her bridesmaids wore pale pink strapless dresses that finished at the knee and carried bouquets of white roses. Dean went with a simple black tuxedo with white tie and white shirt. The groomsmen were dressed to match the groom. The couple celebrated their wedding with a large wedding party of eight groomsmen and eight bridesmaids.
The reception table was covered with messages of love, framed pictures of the couple and white candles. During the ceremony the couple lit a unity candle while friends of the bride and groom sang.
The first dance was to Spend My Life followed by the mother song dance to Song for Mama, which was sung by the same two guests who sang during the wedding ceremony.
The reception room was lit with the couple’s name and pink up-lighting. The bride and groom had a private table for the reception that was initially occupied with bride and groom teddy bears.
For fun, a photo booth was available for guests as well as a caricaturist. The bride and groom offered guests their signature drinks – rum punch for the bride and rum & coke for the groom.
The wedding cake was three-tiers. The top of each tier was decorated with small icing pearls. There was also a round ‘minion’ groom’s cake.
In lieu of favors, the bride and groom generously made a donation to the American Cancer Society.
