Debbie & Austin ~ May 17, 2015

KelWed-1306

Debbie and Austin originally met at a bar but on May 17, 2015 the couple became husband and wife.

For her commitment of love, Debbie wore a wedding gown that was fitted to the hips with beaded bodice, a mermaid flair and ruffled skirt. Sewn underneath the skirt were a military patch and a Hell on Wheels patch. A veil sat over the bride’s up-do. Her bouquet brought together white roses with royal blue and purple orchids. Under her dress was a pair of blue suede shoes. Debbie’s bridesmaids wore blue floor-length gowns with halter straps and empire waists.

Austin wore his military uniform for the wedding while his groomsmen were dressed in black tuxedos with blue vests and ties and blue handkerchiefs. The father of the groom made almost as much of a statement as his son with his camo suit that showed off his hometown roots.

After speeches and dancing, came the wedding cake, which combined two tiers of white fondant with a middle tier of royal blue with a floral design. The top tier had the couple’s initials monogrammed in fondant, while blue flowers topped the cake. Inside chocolate cake and vanilla frosting awaited guests.

The newly married couple’s first dance was to the Bless the Open Road by Rascal Flatts followed by I Loved Her First for the father & daughter dance and Because You Loved Me for the mother & son dance.

Guests were given personalized votive candles with intertwined hearts as favors. Congratulations Debbie and Austin. May the miles that life puts between you be eclipsed by the depths of your life.
