Ashlee & Jacob ~ July 18, 2014

CAMPOS -144WEDDING

For Ashlee and Jacob’s ceremony, the couple exchanged their own vows, which moved their guests. The officiant, who has known the couple for years, talked of how they had grown so much together and were a perfect match. The couple chose a Great Gatsby theme to inspire their wedding!

For her wedding, the bride chose a Mori Lee gown by Madeline Gardner. The dress was fitted lace with a beaded belt, a train and delicate lace straps. A cathedral length veil tied in with the dress with scalloped lace edging. To complete the ensemble, Ashlee chose a simple diamond necklace. Her bridesmaids were in all colors and styles of dresses with a flapper theme complete with headpieces with feathers. Jacob wore a traditional black tuxedo with bowtie while his groomsmen had different colored bowties to match the bridesmaid’s dresses. They’d truly stepped out of the 1920s!

At the reception, the father of the bride talked about the love he could see between the couple and how happy he was to welcome Jacob to his family.

Tables were decorated with white candles, pearls, black wine bottles with table numbers on them and white feathers. Deep red rose petals sprinkled the tables.

For the first dance, Ashlee and Jacob chose Ava’s cover of Justin Timberlake’s Mirrors. The couple held each other close for a traditional first dance.

The cake was three tiers wrapped in purple and crystal ribbons with a diamond pendant amidst a purple bow in the middle layer. Each layer was decorated with purple curlicues.
