Whitney & Travis ~ January 12, 2013

Whitney and Travis arrived at Villa Siena January 12, 2013 for their wedding ceremony and reception. Travis sported a traditional tuxedo with satin lapels, a white shirt, tie and calla lily in the lapel. Next to him, waiting at the altar were his groomsmen in black tuxedos green vests and ties.

To announce the entrance of the bride, three children, including the ring bearer walked down the aisle carrying a silk banner announcing ‘Here Comes the Bride.’ Expectant gazes turned to see Whitney’s bridesmaids in floor length gowns of emerald green satin with mint green belts take their places. Anticipation mounted as Whitney made her grand appearance. In a strapless silk gown with rouching across the bust and waist and beaded detailing from a drop waist, the bride was radiant. A cathedral length veil added to the traditional style of the dress, which could have been Old Hollywood.

As Whitney stepped towards her husband on a white runner with white petals, her groom smiled. This was their moment. The fireplace set of a warm glow at the altar and was adorned with white flowers and candles, accented by freshly draped greenery. The couple lit a unity candle to symbolize the joining of two souls into one marriage.

After the ceremony, the couple entertained at the reception. Music played and the couple took each other in their arms to dance to You’re Everything I Wanted Love to Be, by Darrell Scott. The first dance was followed by the father/daughter dance to Daddy’s Little Girl. Rascal Flats was the music of choice for the mother/son dance with My Wish. Sing-a-longs after the reception got everyone involved in the celebration.

A five tiered cake with ornate design and fresh flowers served the guests. If there was a sweet tooth that wasn’t satiated, guest favors were a candy bar.

Congratulations Whitney and Travis. We wish you both the very best in life.
