Whitney & Mickey were married at Villa Siena on June 25th, 2011 in an intimate indoor ceremony. The indoor fireplace was adorned with warm, flickering candles. Whitney’s color scheme was a soft ivory and pink, which created a lovely delicate environment for all their family & friends. Whitney & Micky chose to take part in the Unity Candle ceremony and invited family members to walk down the aisle with lit taper candles to light the family candles before lighting the pillar candle together, symbolizing the joining of their two lives. A traditionalist at heart, Whitney decided to wear the same gorgeous strapless lace wedding gown that both her mother and grandmother wore! Her brother escorted her down an aisle lined with white rose petals and soft candlelight. Following the ceremony, guests were treated to a slideshow of Whitney & Mickey as they enjoyed an outdoor cocktail hour. Upon entering the Firenze Ballroom for the dinner reception, Whitney & Mickey’s guests were guided to their seats with luggage tags fashioned in the shape of an airplane to highlight Mickey’s career as a pilot. The evening ended with a magical sparkler exit after an evening of fun and dancing! Congratulations Whitney & Mickey!
