Tasha & Jason ~ May 6, 2012

The weddings this season have ranged from fashionable to trendy to rock-n-roll, but on May 6, 2012, Tasha and Jason brought the glamour days of weddings to Villa Siena with a vintage theme to their look and ceremony. In an intimate gathering of family and friends, the couple celebrated their love. Anticipating the Arizona warmth, the programs doubled as fans. With our fountain flowing and red and white rose petals floating on crystal clear waters, the ceremony began. The mood was set as the two flower girls held hands with the ring bearer down the red aisle strewn with white rose petals. The flower girls held flower balls of red roses with thick wrist straps. The bridesmaids wore hi-lo dresses in red with spaghetti straps. Their bouquets were unique to each, with one having a combination of red and white roses, while the other had a simple white bouquet. The groomsmen were accompanied by the couple’s dog who wore a ‘best pet’ bow and stood with them during the ceremony. Tasha could have stepped out of the movies with her flowing gown, birdcage veil and cascading dark ringlets. The bridal bouquet was an exquisite combination of red roses with crystal insets, midnight purple calla lilies and black feathers. Jason was no less the part in a black fedora and black and white saddle shoes. The officiant quoted ‘The Art of Marriage,’ and reminded Tasha and Jason that laughter is medicine for the soul. A memorial candle was lit and unity sand poured to symbolize the blending of their lives together. The couple was enraptured with one another and didn’t stop at one kiss to announce their new bonds, instead, Jason dipped Tasha halfway down the aisle during the recessional with a sensational kiss. The photographer even did his part to memorialize the occasion by spelling forever with scrabble letters, replacing the ‘O’ with the couple’s rings resting on one another. The dinner took a departure from traditional fare with grilled Caribbean chicken with chipotle glaze and peach pineapple salsa. For the first song, Frank Sinatra’s Can’t Take My Eyes Off You, was the perfect compliment to the theme of the night, while party favors were candy cigarettes and a personalized matchbook. The couple’s sweetheart table was decorated was the essence of simplicity with white votive candles, a single floating candle and red flower petals. The day was a sweet celebration of two people finding the perfect match. Congratulations Tasha and Jason, we wish the best for you both.
