Shantel & Zach ~ September 15, 2012

September 15, 2012: Shantel and Zach joined us at Villa Siena for a beautiful outdoor wedding.  Shantel was done up elegantly in a gown with a sweetheart neckline and beaded bodice. The ruffled skirt flowed out with a cathedral length veil embellishing the ensemble. A crystal headband and fresh flowers finished the look. Yellow high heel shoes were hidden under her gown with an ‘I’ on one shoe and a ‘Do’ on the other. Her bouquet was mix of white flowers with one yellow rose mixed in. Zach was fashionable in a black tux with purple tie and purple sneakers. The groomsmen also had purple vests, ties and sneakers. The bridesmaids wore floor-length yellow gowns and carried purple bouquets sprinkled with yellow flowers. The two flower girls wore white dresses with yellow sashes.

A beautiful pattern in yellow rose petals adorned the white runner for the bride to walk down. The altar was lit up with purple candles surrounding a wrought iron cross. The aisle seats were wrapped with yellow bows.

During the ceremony the officiant reminded the couple to support each other through good days and bad and remember to always have forgiveness and seek reconciliation. And then he gave the best advice an officiant can give to any groom ‘a happy wife is a happy life.’

Pictures of family members greeted the guests at the reception. Personalized lighting on the wall behind the couple’s table read ‘Shantel and Zach.’ The cake was eye-catching with five tiers of white and purple design accented by a few fresh yellow roses. The tablecloths were purple with gold curlicues. Tall-standing vases rose up with a fresh arrangement of yellow flowers.

The maid of honor, best friend and cousin all gave toasts. They talked about the couple having a lot of ‘firsts’ together. One of the toasts claimed the highest high a girl can have is to become a Mrs.

Shantel’s father kept things light, saying Zach gained three things – a wonderful wife, an expensive taste and a great father-in-law. What a wonderful day. Congratulations Shantel and Zach. We wish you the best.
