September 17, 2013 Shannon and Zach shared their wedding vows at Villa Siena. The couple opted for a traditional ceremony but added their own personal sentiments. Their color scheme was a classic combination of red, black and white. Black and white served as the backdrop to the red roses that brought passion to the design of the day. Red roses filled the villa from bouquets set atop the altar with candles during the ceremony, to petals in the fountain, to table centerpieces and most importantly, the bride’s bouquet. Black and white were used for table settings while a white runner with black edging led Shannon to her groom.

For their special day Zach chose a black tuxedo with bowtie while his groomsmen complimented him with black tuxedos and black ties. Shannon looked fabulous in a strapless gown with beaded bodice and satin skirt. She wore a cathedral length veil for the ceremony with her hair down in loose curls. Her shoes were elegant heels with a crystal ankle band and thin strap across the foot. On the soles of the shoes was inscribed I Do. Underneath her gown for her groom to find was a maroon and yellow garter. Her bridesmaids, at her side throughout the day, wore black floor length gowns that added to the classic feel of the day.

Guests were welcomed to the reception with framed images of the couple’s engagement photographs.

After dinner, the best man and maid of honor gave speeches followed by the couple’s first dance to I Won’t Give Up by Jason Mraz.

The couple’s wedding cake was tied with silver crystal ribbons with a bow on the middle tier and red roses on top. The delicious delight was a four-tiered affair with each tier a different flavor. The first tier was an Oreo cookie and cream cake with Oreo cookies and crème filling. The second tier was red velvet with a cream cheese filling. The third tier used butterfingers with a peanut butter mousse and chocolate gnash. The last tier was chocolate cake with raspberry and chocolate mousse. What taste buds couldn’t find something delectable to sample there?
