Sandee & Blane ~ November 19, 2016

They met while the bride was working at a pharmacy, and on November 19, 2016, Sandee and Blane were married.

Sandee wore an ivory silk trumpet gown accented with a sweetheart neckline, beaded bodice, and hip-length veil. Her bouquet was composed of white and cream roses, burgundy-colored gerbera daisies, and green botanical accents. Her two bridesmaids wore burgundy-colored sleeveless floor-length dresses with shirred bodices.

Blane and his two groomsmen sported deep blue suits; Blane’s tie was ivory and he wore a red rose boutonniere. The groomsmen wore burgundy ties.

At the ceremony, the center aisle was lined with red rose petals for Sandee’s entrance. The officiant reminded the couple and the guests that marriage takes commitment and compromise before Sandee and Blane read their personal vows to each other.

Inside the reception, guests signed a wooden monogram for the new couple, then sat down to a meal of pork chops, steak, mashed potatoes, and mixed vegetables. The tables were covered in white tablecloths accented with floral centerpieces and tea light candles.

During the toasts, the best man, Charlie, Blane’s cousin, thanked the guests for coming to the wedding and told old stories about the groom. Stephanie, Sandee’s maid of honor, was a friend of hers from school, and mentioned that she had never seen the bride so happy. Then, Sandee and Blane headed to the dance floor for their first dance to the sounds of “I Can’t Change the World” sung by Brad Paisley.

Each level of the three-tier wedding cake was different: the base was decorated with silver sparkles, the middle was frosted in white with a ribbon effect, and the top was done in pink. Red and white flowers topped the cake.

We hope Sandee and Blane enjoy a lifetime of happiness together!
