Noor and Emmanuel: From Camping Buddies to A Lifelong Couple
Noor and Emmanuel first met on a college camping trip, and they hit it off right away — so much so, in fact, that it wasn’t long before these two realized they were meant to be. These lovebirds have taken the long, beautiful journey from friends to sweethearts, and in December they finally tied the knot.
The couple celebrated their love with a beautiful wedding, decorated in shades of burgundy, blue, and gold. The bridesmaids wore long burgundy gowns in various styles. Emmanuel and his groomsmen wore navy suits with burgundy ties. And as for Noor? She was gorgeous in her lacy, white, off the shoulder dress, complete with a flowing lace train and veil.
The wedding took place outdoors in the Plaza Toscana, which was decorated with red, white, and pink roses. Rose petals were strewn down the aisle as Noor’s mother walked her to Emmanuel (Noor’s father, who was currently stuck in India due to the pandemic, was watching via live stream). During the ceremony, the couple exchanged vows, took communion, and promised to commit themselves to one another. Soon, it was time for a kiss, and Mr. and Mrs. Whempner were finally official!
After the ceremony, guests headed inside for a reception feast of a mixed green salad, sliced beef tenderloin with a cognac cream sauce and horseradish aioli, tortellini Primavera, and creamy mashed potatoes. Afterward, guests satisfied their sweet tooth with a delicious cake covered in gorgeous flowers (yum!).
Throughout the evening, it was easy to see all the love and joy coming from our couple of honor and their dear loved ones. It is clear that Noor and Emmanuel have a huge, loving support network on their side, and that their life together will be filled with happy days.
