September 27, 2013 Nicole and Paul were married at Villa Siena. The couple was a perfect compliment to one another. Nicole exuded happiness with her hair down in loose curls and bangs. Her dress was a stunning strapless gown with rouching across the top and diamond detailing across the waistband. The tulle skirt flowed softly with a train behind. She wore a diamond necklace to pick up a bit of sparkle. Over her hair, Nicole wore a veil with satin piping. Hidden under her skirts was a pair of blue satin Manolo Blahnik ballet flats with rhinestone squares on them. Her shoes matched her bouquet of assorted purple and blue flowers with orchids interspersed. Sprigs of greenery added a fresh feel.
For their wedding and reception, Paul wore a black tux with white vest, tie and shirt while his groomsmen wore blue vests and ties with black tuxes. Bridesmaids wore blue strapless above-the-knee dresses. As the bride and groom said their vows vases with votive candles burned while flowers danced in water below. During the ceremony, the couple planted two wild seeds to signify the growing together of their love.
The growth and blooming of flowers surrounded the day. In addition to floral arrangements on the tables, lanterns glowed. Guests dined on a sumptuous meal followed by the three-tiered wedding cake. Each layer was wrapped with a blue ribbon. On top sat a bride and groom owl. Underneath read Owl Love You Forever with the date of the couple’s wedding. Surrounding the cake was a variety of different flavored cupcakes. What a wonderful way to end such a sweet day.
