Natalie & Brad ~ May 22, 2015

Purple-May-Wedding (14)Natalie and Brad were high school sweethearts. They met on a co-ed soccer team during their freshman year of high school. They were both fourteen years old. On May 20th they went on a group date. May 22nd Brad texted Natalie to tell her he liked her. Ten years later on May 22nd the couple was married at Villa Siena.
For her wedding, Natalie wore a strapless gown with a crystal beaded belt and rouching across the front of the dress. A veil was fastened in her hair and she carried a bouquet of purple and white roses and calla lilies. Her bridesmaids were dressed in purple gowns with the maid of honor in a deep plum gown and the bridesmaids in violet gowns. Brad was dapper in a grey tuxedo with piping, a purple vest and purple bowtie. His groomsmen were dressed to match except they wore purple ties instead of bowties.

As a groom’s gift, Brad had pint glasses engraved with ‘groomsman’ and the date of the wedding. Instead of a guest book, guests were asked to answer a few questions, such as where they traveled from and give advice to the couple.
Speeches were filled with emotion and ranged from the father of the bride welcoming the groom to the family to the mother of the bride speaking of how much she loves her daughter and the maid of honor noting that Natalie and Brad are soul mates and how she remembered being at the movies when the bride and groom shared their first kiss. Because the wedding vows during the ceremony were formal, the couple exchanged more personal vows at the reception.

The couple’s first dance was to Maroon 5’s She Will Be Loved. They also performed a choreographed dance to songs throughout time with confetti falling at the end. Natalie and Brad each danced with their parents to What a Wonderful World. The bride’s parents then shared a dance. There was a photo booth for friends and family and a newlywed game was played.
For dessert, the wedding cake was three tiers of an almond infusion cake with almond cream cheese filling. The cake was finished with silver fondant with purple fondant flower bunches scattered over the three layers.
The night ended with a signature Villa Siena sparkler farewell. Congratulations Natalie and Brad. May the seconds of your life together blur into a lifetime of happiness. We wish you the best.
