Mo & Harrison ~ September 21, 2012

“You can’t wait for love,” said Mo in response to some people thinking the wedding was coming too quickly. She’s right. When you see love you know love, so why let anything stand in your way? The glowing bride arrived at Villa Siena September 21, 2012, ready for the next step in life with her fiancé. Mo changed dresses from a high collared fitted dress with beaded detailing and keyhole back, to an a-line dress with sweetheart top for the ceremony. Her hair was swept up with a veil attached by a decorative band around her bun. She had delicate diamond earrings and gold sparkly shoes. The bridesmaids kept the tone soft and sweet with watermelon-colored dresses that ended just above the knee. The men contributed to the warm summer feel with tan tuxedos and white shirts. The groom wore a lighter shade of natural for his tie, while the groomsmen wore a slightly darker shade. With ten bridesmaids and ten groomsmen, it was clear to us how well loved Mo and Harrison are. The couple’s dog was also part of the ceremony, but didn’t quite steal the show. All eyes were on Mo when she made her entrance. As she walked down the aisle, the bride teared up, while her father walked by her side.

1000 colorful cranes were hand folded by the bride’s family and friends and hung in the Chianciano room for their reception. Bonsai trees decorated the tables. The dinner fare consisted of a “come & go” menu with traditional Chinese food. Berry water, citrus water and watermelon water were available. Crepes finished off the dinner with the choice of chocolate or almond crème with berries, almonds and whipped cream. A slideshow shared sweet moments of the couple’s life as the groom toasted to Mo, proclaiming he was excited to spend the rest of eternity with her. Their cake was a three-tiered affair with watermelon colored roses and gold geometric designs across the middle layer, which they fed to one another. Fortune cookies were the favors with the bride and groom’s names and date of marriage inside. The bride changed into a more casual dress for the traditional Villa Siena sparkler farewell. Thank for sharing a beautiful day with us. Congratulations.
