Marquita & Dameion ~ November 18, 2012

November 18, 2012 marked the wedding of Marquita and Dameion at Villa Siena. Beauty and energy best describes this couple. The bride wore a strapless dress with rouching across the bust and down the bodice. Beaded detailing was used subtly throughout the dress. A diamond necklace and bracelet added additional sparkle to the ensemble. Marquita’s shoes were fabulous with a feather and diamond accent. Bridesmaids wore purple floor-length gowns with a ruffled strap over one shoulder. The bride’s bouquet was a colorful blend of blue, purple, white and yellow, while the bridesmaid’s bouquets were purple and white roses. Three flower girls announced the beginning of the ceremony in white dresses with a wide black ribbon and flower, white socks and black shoes. They all wore white headbands.

The runner was adorned with a heart made of purple flower petals. The rest of the runner was lined with flower petals.

The groom wore a white shirt, white tie and vest with a black tuxedo. He was the picture of confidence and very at ease throughout the ceremony. His groomsmen stood by his side in black tuxedos with purple vests and ties.

To symbolize their unification to each other and God, the couple took three strands of rope and braided them together around their wrists.

During the reception the bridal party performed a choreographed dance after the newlywed’s first dance together. Then came the cake, a beautiful affair with four tiers decorated with black and white detailing wrapped in red and crystal ribbon. The couple’s initials were on the second tier. On the upper tier was a topper with the bride in the groom’s arms, her legs wrapped around him. The couple gave four cakes to guests with anniversaries and birthdays. Sweet treats continued with each guest receiving a caramel apple for a favor.

Congratulations Marquita and Dameion. We wish you the very best for your new life together.
