Madison & Jack ~ January 5, 2013

January 5, 2013 Madison and Jack arrived at Villa Siena for their outdoor wedding ceremony and reception. Clothes hung on custom hangers that read Mr., Mrs. and for their special guest, ‘I Do.’ The couple’s very special guest, their dog, Wink, walked down the aisle with the flower girl to announce the start of the ceremony. Wink was dressed for the occasion in a black tuxedo jacket with pink bow tie and black spats with cuff links. Jack, the groom, was waiting in grey tuxedo with white shirt and tie. A pink rose was affixed to his lapel and some sexy pink socks peeked out from under his pant legs. His groomsmen also wore grey tuxedos, but had navy blue vests and ties with pink roses and pink socks.

Following Wink’s appearance came the bridesmaids. Between the five bridesmaids were three styles of dresses, with the maid of honor in the original dress. Then came the bride walked down the aisle by her mother. The white runner was lined with white rose petals and candles. Madison wore a beautiful fitted dress with gauzy ruffles across the bust and down the back flowing out into a train. Just below the empire waist was silver beading details. Under the skirt was a pair of blue satin shoes with diamond accents. The bride wore a veil, which also had beading along the edges. Madison wore her hair up with the veil tucked under her blonde curls. She carried a bouquet of white roses wrapped with a cross.

During the ceremony, the officiant talked about friendship being the foundation of marriage. Then the couple lit a unity candle surrounded by pictures of their grandparents. Family and growing up was a big part of the night. During the reception a slideshow played with pictures of the couple from infancy to present.

Madison and Jack showed their love for each other during the first dance I Can Love You by Gary Allen before Madison’s mother joined her for a mother/daughter dance to Taylor Swift’s The Best Day.

A homemade cake decorated like the American flag was served as well as a birthday cake for one of the guests. In addition, a three-tiered cake with soft ruffles of fondant that mimicked the bride’s dress was finished with white chocolate shavings and fresh roses on top.

The day was a beautiful celebration of love and friendship. Congratulations Madison and Jack. May your lives be filled with peace and happiness.
