Lori and Maitland ~ August 4, 2018

Lori and Maitland, who met at a bootcamp at their gym, were married on August 4, 2018.

Lori dazzled in a beaded sleeveless sheath dress with a deep V back. Her accessories included a crystal necklace, drop earrings, and a fingertip veil. She carried a bouquet of white, red, and pink roses.

Her six bridesmaids wore individual full-length maroon gowns and carried smaller versions of the bride’s bouquet.

Maitland wore a black suit with a maroon vest, white shirt, striped tie, and white rose boutonniere. His six groomsmen wore black suits with maroon vests, white shirts, pewter bow ties, maroon pocket squares, and red rose boutonnieres.

During the indoor ceremony, which was performed by Lori’s older brother, Maitland’s family welcomed Lori into their family, and vice versa. The couple read personal vows to each other.

Later, guests dined on a mixed-greens salad with strawberries, steamed carrots, chicken with cream sauce, and steak.

In the toasts, the best man talked about he and the groom’s shared love of basketball. The maid of honor shared how she met the bride at the gym and how close she is to the couple.

Maitland and Lori had their first dance as man and wife to “When You Say Nothing At All” blended with a variety of dance songs. Lori and her father danced to “My Little Girl” by Tim McGraw. Maitland danced with his aunt in honor of his late mother; they danced to “Tell It Like It Is” by Aaron Neville.

The three-tiered wedding cake was graced with a “Game of Thrones” cake topper.

Lori and Maitland left their big day under the signature sparkler send-off.

We wish this beautiful couple a long and happy life together!
