Lindsey & Justin ~ March 17, 2017

Justin and Lindsey, who met on a snowboarding trip to Flagstaff, became man and wife on March 17, 2017.

Lindsey wore a romantic A-line YolanCris gown with a plunging neckline, a bodice embellished with lace and beading, and a lace hem. Her accessories included a knee-length veil, lariat necklace, and drop earrings. Her cascade-style bouquet feature roses and peonies in shades of white and blush along with botanical accents. Her three bridesmaids wore gray full-length dresses in varying silhouettes, and carried smaller versions of the bride’s bouquet.

Justin looked handsome in a light gray three-piece suit with a white tie, white pocket square, and white flower boutonniere. The other gentlemen wore dark gray three-piece suits with black ties, dark pocket squares, and white flower boutonnieres.

At the indoor ceremony, the aisle was lined with white rose petals and candles inside birdcage-style holders. Lindsey and Justin faced the attendees so they could participate in the event, and the officiant asked the guests if they gave the couple their blessing, at which point everyone cheered, yelled, and clapped.

During the indoor/outdoor reception, guests signed a map for the couple before enjoying a meal of mixed-greens salad, beef tenderloin, chicken, and green beans.

During the speeches, Lindsey’s maid of honor, her sister, shared memories of when they were children, while her matron of honor, who has known the bride since sixth grade, told the guests that Lindsey picked on her every day in school until they became best friends. Justin’s best man, his fraternal twin brother, joked that he’s shorter than Justin but Justin picked very tall groomsmen.

Lindsey and Justin danced together for the first time as a married couple to “Home” by Edward Sharpe and The Magnetic Zeros. Lindsey and her father danced to “Forever Young” by Bob Dylan, and Justin and his mother danced to “Simple Man” as performed by Shinedown.

The wedding cake was composed of three tiers, each decorated differently. The groom’s cake was a Rice Krispy treat cake.

Lindsey and Justin honeymooned in Germany and the Czech Republic.

We wish the happy couple a long and beautiful life together!
