Lauren and Wes were married on September 24, 2023.
Lauren looked radiant in a sleeveless fit-and-flare lace gown with spaghetti straps, a V neckline, and a train. Her accessories included a heart pendant necklace and full-length veil. She carried a bouquet of long-stem ivory roses. Her four bridesmaids wore matching sage green calf-length dresses with spaghetti straps and cowl necklines. They carried the same bouquet as the bride.
Wes got married in a classic black tuxedo with a black vest, white shirt, black bow tie, black pocket square, and white rose boutonniere. His three groomsmen wore black tuxedos with black vests, white shirts, black bow ties, black pocket squares, and white rose boutonnieres.
After an outdoor ceremony, guests signed bottles of alcohol instead of a guestbook, then sat down to a meal of grilled Tuscan chicken with shiitake and portobello mushrooms in a creamy balsamic sauce, tortellini primavera, and potatoes au gratin.
Later, a number of people gave toasts to the newlyweds.
The special dances included a mother/son dance and a father/daughter dance.
The three-tier wedding cake had white-on-white frosting designs and was topped with a traditional bride-and-groom ornament.
