Larissa & Anthony ~ March 4, 2016

march-wedding-3

Larissa and Anthony knew each other as kids in elementary school and high school but then went their own separate ways in life. On a vacation in Cabo, Mexico they happened to run into each other and reconnect. They were married on Friday, March 4, 2016.

Larissa wore a V-neck wedding gown with a bodice encrusted in gold and silver beads, which topped a tulle ballgown skirt. Her bridesmaids wore tea-length, V-neck and sleeveless turquoise dresses, and the Maid of Honor modeled a distinct, gold-colored gown. They each held colorful bouquets of white hydrangeas and orange calla lilies.

Anthony donned a two-piece black suit with a turquoise bowtie and vest. His lapel was pinned with an orange calla lily. His groomsmen wore two-piece black suits with turquoise vests and neckties, their lapels ornamented with yellow calla lilies, and the groomslady wore a simple, black tea-length sleeveless dress with black flats.

The sand ceremony was performed during Larissa and Anthony’s wedding ceremonial, pouring different colors of sand with different meanings. There was also a wine ceremony, and letters written to one another.

During a plated dinner, salad kicked off a meal of chicken and ribs with twice-baked potatoes and vegetables. Instead of a wedding cake, a dessert and candy table featured mini cakes, tarts, chocolate balls, and chocolate chip cookies with milk.

During toasts, the Best Man, Dave, thanked the parents, and gave the story of how Larissa and Anthony met. He also talked about how Anthony can fix anything, and is reliable. The Maid of Honor said the theme of their relationship is happiness, thanked everyone, and then went around to each table to ask couples what has worked in their relationship to have true happiness.

Larissa and Anthony’s First Dance was to Above & Beyond’s “Good For Me.”

During the beach-themed reception, there was a photo booth for the guests, plus a kid’s table with cameras and Ring Pops.

We wish Larissa and Anthony all the best on their new life together.
