Katie & Cameron ~ September 29, 2016

Katie and Cameron met in high school, and were married on Thursday, September 29, 2016.

Katie modeled an elegant wedding gown with a ballgown skirt and a long tulle train, complete with a straight across neckline. A beaded silver belt around her waist, and an elbow-length veil accompanied her dress. She held a posy-tied bouquet of classic red roses, and her three bridesmaids held small bouquets of white roses. Her bridesmaids donned red sheath gowns with semi-sweetheart necklines and silver belts.

Cameron wore a black suit with a dove gray vest and bowtie over a white shirt. His three groomsmen wore red vests with matching bowties beneath their black suits. A red rose was pinned on every lapel.

Katie was led to the outdoor alter along a bright red carpet adorned in red rose petals. A prayer was said at the beginning, followed by a sand ceremony. Katie and Cameron’s young son was the ring bearer, who also sported a light gray bowtie.

Dinner consisted of grilled chicken breast with mild chipotle glaze and sliced beef tenderloin, accompanied by creamy mashed potatoes and confetti-grilled vegetable ravioli. A three-tiered, vanilla-flavored wedding cake was covered in white vanilla frosting in a cut design, and ornamented with red roses and jewels

During toasts, Katie’s sister Shelly expressed how statistics say they don’t end up together, but here they are. She said how proud she is of her sister, and how much she loves her. The Best Man said he is happy for the two of them, and wished them the best of luck.

Katie and Cameron’s First Dance was to “Wanted” by Hunter Hayes. The Mother/Son Dance was to “It’s Your Song” by Garth Brooks, as well as a few other choreographed songs, and the Father/Daughter Dance was to “Lullaby” by Billy Joel.

Guests were treated to a bell with a thank you note attached as favors, and kids were handed goody bags with Goldfish crackers and games.

Katie and Cameron left under the signature sparkler farewell, and we wish them all the happiness in the world.
