Blacks, Blushes, and Greens (and a Surprise Entrance) For Katia and Micah’s Big Day
Blushing romance and old-school glamor brought together Katia and Micah’s big day. There was a breathtaking balance of greens, blushes, and peaches that brought a real warmth — with plenty of classic black to give that air of sophistication. In fact, we absolutely adored the bold, chic choice of the black floor-length bridesmaids’ dresses and black suits for Micah and the groomsmen. But Katia absolutely stole the show in her beautiful trumpet gown. When she made her way down the outdoor aisle, surrounded by florals and grand architecture, it was certainly a sight to behold! The ceremony was filled with prayer and some lovely tips for a strong marriage, and the way that Katia and Micah looked at each other showed what true love is all about.
When it came to the reception, talk about a wow factor — Katia started her married life in style by cutting her hair before the grand entrance! The room was bursting with flowers and a romantic glow from the candlelight. From Steve, Katia’s father, giving a blessing before dinner to the heartfelt toasts from the maid of honor and the bride’s parents, everyone in the room was feeling the love for the couple. The night was full of dancing, with Micah and Katia starting the festivities with a first dance to “Cover Me Up”. By the time we said goodbye with a stunning sparkler exit, it was definitely a day to remember!
