Kaitlin & Adrian ~ March 27, 2016

Blue-Pink-Wedding-Easter (35)Kaitlin and Adrian met in a dance class, and on Sunday, March 27, 2016, they were married in a beautiful Spring wedding.

Kaitlin modeled a Mia Solano wedding dress with a semi-sweetheart neckline, a bunched skirt with extended train – her bodice elegantly laced up along the back. The bride also displayed a knotted updo with a bejeweled headband and sheer veil. She held a semi-cascading bouquet of white roses with and pink and white orchids. Her seven bridesmaids modeled mini turquoise dresses in semi-sweetheart and asymmetric necklines – plus fuchsia heels and posy bouquets of white roses and deep-blue flowers.

Adrian sported a three-piece black suit with a white shirt and black necktie with turquoise stripes. His seven groomsmen also wore black, three-piece suits, theirs with black shirts and solid turquoise neckties and pocket squares.

During the outdoor ceremony, the bridal party wore white sunglasses while the groom and groomsmen wore black sunglasses. The officiant was friend-of-the-family Elmond Kriupink, who monitored the sand ceremony.

A buffeted dinner was later presented, offering salad, chicken, potatoes, and green beans. The chocolate and vanilla wedding cake was three squared tiers with a quilted pattern and a bedazzled ribbon along the bottom of each layer – all adorned with pink blossoms.

For toasts, the Maid of Honor Jackie recalled when she met the bride, and when Kaitlin and Adrian met each other. The Best Man Michael then thanked the guests for attending the wedding.

Kaitlin and Adrian’s first dance was to “Stand By Me” by Prince Royce, the Father/Daughter Dance was to “Somewhere Over the Rainbow,” and the Mother/Son Dance was to “Forever Young” by Rod Stewart.

During the reception, the bride changed into a Pnina Tornai mini dress. The Sweetheart Table was adorned in flower displays arranged by the Mother of the Groom Hilda, who is a florist. There was also a photobooth, so the couple may look back on the faces of their loving guests from one of the happiest days of their lives.
