Justine & Pat ~ March 16, 2019

A Perfect Wedding in Peach and Blue

When Justine and Patrick tied the knot on March 16, they made sure their special day was a family affair. The couple – former high school buddies who reconnected after college – brought all their nearest and dearest together for a heart-warming celebration, complete with a romantic palette of peach, red, and blue.

The couple were married outside in the Piazza Toscana, which was decorated with a white aisle runner and stunning arrangements of white, red, and peach roses with eucalyptus accents. These bold colors contrasted nicely with the dusty blue gowns the bridesmaids wore and the navy blue suits Patrick and his groomsmen were sporting. But of course, no one was quite as lovely as Justine in her lacy Maggie Sottero gown and chapel-length veil.

As we mentioned earlier, the wedding was a family affair; Patrick’s twin brother played the role of best man, Justine’s brother officiated the ceremony, and Justine’s grandmother read an Irish blessing over the bride and groom. The couple also wrote their own vows to one another and lit a unity candle, symbolizing the beginning of the new family they were creating together. It was a beautiful ceremony, only made better by watching the obvious love these two sweethearts share.

After the bride and groom said I do and sealed it with a kiss, it was time for dinner. Guests enjoyed Southwestern salad, potatoes au gratin, and grilled veggies, along with their choice of chicken breast stuffed with prosciutto and provolone or grilled mahi mahi. During dinner, guests mingled with one another and heard lovely speeches from the bridal party and parents of the newlyweds — but before long, it was time to hit the dancefloor.

Justine and Patrick kicked things off with their first dance, set to “Hands Down” by Greeting Committee. After that, guests cut a rug for hours… and they must have worked up quite an appetite, because the late-night snacks (Mac and cheese bites, sliders, and fries) were a huge success! By the end of the evening, it was clear that everyone’s tummies were full and their hearts were overflowing. Congrats to Justine and Patrick!
