Jessica modeled a semi-sweetheart, ivory wedding dress with a ballgown skirt, pick up ruffles, and a corset back. A veil was held in place by two beaded headbands, and she held a bouquet of soft purple and cream-colored flowers. Her four bridesmaids wore purple sheath gowns with sweetheart necklines, and also held bouquets of purple and white.

Nathan sported a three-piece black suit with a white dress shirt, and purple necktie and pocket square. His groomsmen also wore three-piece suits, theirs with purple vests, neckties, and pocket squares. Each lapel was pinned with a white rose.

Jessica and Nathan’s outdoor wedding featured a sand ceremony, and an adorable ring bearer and flower girl.

A plated dinner started with salad, followed by chicken and beef with green beans and potatoes. The three-tiered wedding cake consisted of white, lavender, and purple fondant, complete with white lace fondant on the first and third layers, and gumpaste flower embellishments.

Later, Nathan’s three sisters gave a toast and welcomed Jessica to the family. One of the groomsmen has known Nathan since fourth grade, and he recalled how they didn’t like each other at first until they were put in time out together for fighting, and became best friends. A bridesmaid described meeting Jessica when working together at Safeway 10 years ago, and gave her best wishes and love.

Jessica and Nathan’s first dance was to “Mirrors” by Justin Timberlake. The Father/Daughter Dance was to “My Girl” by The Temptations, and the Mother/Son Dance was to a “Happy” and “Uptown Funk” mashup.

Guests were also treated to customized teaspoons with “A Punch of Love” and other sayings on them, plus silver, heart-shaped bottle openers. There was also a photobooth so Jessica and Nathan could make a scrapbook of their beautiful wedding day.
