Jessica and JC were married on March 6, 2016 amongst friends and family on a beautiful and sunny Sunday.

Jessica modeled a stunning soft pink Vera Wang wedding dress with a ballgown skirt and a Queen Anne-style neckline – all of which was adorned in decorative pearls. She also stood atop soft pink heels with crisscrossing straps, and donned a train from David’s Bridal. Her six bridesmaids wore black, tea-length Alfred Sung dresses with plunging V-necks and pearls, and a variation of heels and hairdos. Each member of the bridal party clutched hand-tied bouquets of white and light pink roses.

JC donned a black, three-piece suit with a white shirt and black bowtie; his lapel ornamented with a white rose. His ensemble matched his seven groomsmen.

Signs reading “Best Friends for Life, Husband & Wife” and “Welcome to Our Love Story” welcomed guests arriving to the ceremony. Jessica and JC were married in an outdoor, unplugged ceremony – meaning all guests were asked to be fully present and to turn off all devices. The new couple released seed-filled balloons to symbolize their love for the ceremony.

During the reception, a dinner of pasta with creamy pesto sauce and spinach chicken was served. The white, three-tiered wedding cake was gluten-free, and raspberry, chocolate, and vanilla in flavor. The elegant dessert was adorned in white flowers, with a black silhouette cake topper of the bride, groom, and dog. An elaborate candy offered bowls and dishes of chocolate covered pretzels, butter toffee popcorn, rock candy, butterscotch, and more.

The reception featured a photobooth for guests, offering props like giant yellow glasses, Statue of Liberty shades, and neckties on sticks.

Sincere toasts were also presented to the new couple. The Best Man expressed how he’s known the groom for 15 years, and how he’s happy Jess is patient with JC. Jessica’s sister told the story of how she played matchmaker seven years ago, and how happy she is that they’re still together. A Bridesmaid and best friend Carolina also spoke, sharing a story about herself and the bride.

Jessica and JC left their adventurous wedding night behind under the signature sparkler farewell. Here’s to the beautiful new couple – we wish you the best of luck.
