Jessi & Mike ~ September 22, 2012

September 22, 2012 united Jessi and Mike in love and in marriage. The couple was as bright and cheerful as their color scheme of teal and white. Introduced by the bride’s best friend, the couple found chemistry together that led them to marriage.

Jessi looked like a fairytale bride in a strapless gown with A-line skirt and beaded detailing throughout. She had a cathedral length veil also with beaded detailing and her hair was worn up. Simple earrings accessorized the look. The brides’ bouquet consisted of orchids. As the bridesmaids walked down the aisle in teal strapless floor-length dresses, the excitement with the guests rose. Then Christina Perri’s 1,000 Years began to play. All attention turned for the bride’s grand entrance. She glowed.

Mike, wearing a black shirt and tux, white tie and vest and patent leather white shoes couldn’t take his eyes off his bride. Flanked by his best friends in teal ties, vests and white patent shoes, the groom was clearly excited to take the next step with his love.

The sand ceremony box held a picture of the couple. Teal and white sand was poured around. Another picture of the couple sat on the altar with votive candles surrounding it.

Throughout the day the couple could be found stealing kisses, many caught by the photographer. Jessi and Mike had fun with their photography session after the vows when all nerves had dissolved.

After introductions, the couple took to the dance floor for a first dance to Blake Shelton’s God Gave Me You. During the speeches, the best man said, “Jessi looks stunning, but Mike just looks stunned.” Another speech customized the lyrics to Journey’s Just a Small Town Girl for Jessi.

Guests were asked to leave advice for the couple and to sign their names on blank tags tied around fresh roses.

Favors were personalized bottles of Jones cream soda. Half of the sodas were colored teal and the other half were clear. On each label was a picture of Jessi and Mike with the backs to the camera spelling out L-O-V-E with their hands.

The cake had bright teal fondant ribbon. On top sat statures of Mickey and Minnie Mouse kissing.

We hope Jessi and Mike will steal kisses together throughout their marriage. Congratulations. We wish you the best.
