Jennifer & Jeffrey ~ December 15, 2019

It was all treats and no tricks for Jennifer and Jeffrey, who met at a Halloween party and were married on December 15, 2019.

Jennifer looked spectacular in an A-line ballgown with cap lace sleeves, a sweetheart neckline, an embroidered bodice, button-down back, and a full skirt with a train. Her accessories included drop earrings and a full-length veil. Her bouquet was composed of pink and white roses and white peonies accented with eucalyptus. Her seven bridesmaids wore full-length dusty rose dresses in a variety of silhouettes. They carried smaller versions of the bride’s bouquet. (For the reception, Jennifer changed into an A-line dress with spaghetti straps, sweetheart neckline, lace bodice, and sparkly dusty rose skirt.)

Jeffrey wore a classic black tuxedo with a black vest, white shirt, black bow tie, and white rose boutonniere. His seven groomsmen wore gray tuxedos with gray vests, white shirts, black ties, white pocket squares, and white rose boutonnieres.

During the ceremony, the officiant remarked that the wedding day is often the fastest day of a person’s life, and that the couple should slow down to remember things.

Next, at the reception, guests enjoyed a plated meal of classic Caesar salad with tomatoes, Romano cheese, and a Parmesan crisp; creamy mashed potatoes; wild rice blend; quinoa and vegetables; braised beef short ribs; and baked Dover sole with sauteed spinach. The featured cocktails were Long Island Iced Teas, and there was a dessert bar featuring a doughnut board.

During the speeches, the maid of honor, the bride’s older sister, advised the groom to always say three little words to the bride: “You are right.” The best man, the groom’s brother-in-law, said that Jennifer is the girl of Jeffrey’s dreams, and the girl he can’t live without.

Jeffrey and Jennifer shared their first dance as man and wife to “Can’t Help Falling in Love” by Kina Grannis. Jennifer and her mother danced to “Because You Loved Me” by Celine Dion. The bride and groom provided flip-flops for their guests for the dancing.

The four-tier wedding cake was done in a brushed white frosting design. It was decorated with a cascade of pink roses and topped with an ornament bearing the couple’s first names.

We wish the bride and groom love and happiness in their beautiful new life together!
