Jenna & Enrique ~ May 4, 2012

May 4th, 2012 was a bright, sparkling day at Villa Siena, the perfect backdrop for Jenna and Enrique’s reception. Moving closer to summer, bridal bouquets are taking on lighter, softer tones with whites, and varying shades of pink. Jenna brought her own brightness to the festivities with her delicate silhouette adorned in a single strap gown. Beading accented the top edge of the dress, the strap and was echoed in a ruffled design that swept into the skirt of the dress. With buttons down the back and Jenna’s hair swept across her face, a simple diamond bracelet and earrings were all that were needed to complete the look. The bridesmaids wore above-the-knee single strap violet belted dresses that echoed the bride’s gown without taking attention from it. The groomsmen wore purple ties to complete the color scheme while the groom set himself apart with a white tie.  The reception took place in the Firenze Ballroom. A custom seating chart with the couple’s photo in the background helped guests find their table. The Italian Renaissance style of the ballroom was an excellent setting for tables decorated with tiered floating candles accented with votive candles and the occasional bold pink rose. The couple chose a very clean design for the tables. The head table utilized the bridesmaid’s bouquets for décor with votive candles casting a soft glow over the festivities. Fun facts about the bridal party were given as they entered. Jenna was all smiles for her first dance with her husband while Shania Twain’s Life From This Moment recalled their vows of earlier in the day. When the time came for the bouquet toss, the ladies were lined up and waiting. The room started heating up when Jenna sat for the garter toss. Enrique and the groomsmen donned sunglasses for the event to help keep everyone looking and feeling cool. To satisfy everyone’s hunger, a three-tiered vanilla cake was served with decorative frosting and a simple violet ribbon. Fresh flowers added the finishing touch with additional petals scattered over the cake table. If the guests’ sweet tooth wasn’t satisfied after the cake, they had chocolate covered pretzel sticks to look forward to as a parting gift. With so much laughter and energy filling the room it was no surprise the DJ had people dancing all night.  By the time the evening was winding down, the moon was shining brightly for the signature Villa Siena sparkler exit. Congratulations Enrique and Jenna. We were honored to share in your celebration and wish you all the best in the years to come.
