A Blush and Burgundy Traditional Jewish Wedding

Janis and Glenn first met back in 1994 at a bar where he was the doorman in Tucson, Arizona. Janis was a customer, but 24 years later she became much more than a patron at his bar, she became his wife.

Ceremony

The pair exchanged vows in a traditional Jewish ceremony outside under a Chuppah. The bride glowed in a strapless embroidered soft A-line gown accented with a fingertip-length veil. Her hair was styled down and curly. The groom looked dapper in a formal black tuxedo complete with a blush corsage to match the bride’s blush and burgundy bouquet.

Reception

Following their personal and moving vows, the pair sealed the deal with a kiss and recessed down the aisle. At the reception, the guests enjoyed grilled boneless chicken breast filled with prosciutto and provolone cheese as well as sliced beef tenderloin with cognac cream sauce and horseradish aioli. Are you drooling yet?

The pair danced to “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You” by Frank Valli and the couple danced with their father and mother to Celine Dion’s “I Will Always Love You”. The night finished on a sweet note when the pair cut into a blush and white three-tier cake.

As Janis said of their relationship in her vows, “We flourish together as a team”, and this night was certainly a strong indication of that.
