Janet and Martin hosted their wedding reception on July 16, 2011. It was a beautiful, bright summer day. The ceremony was held at a church where Janet and Martin were joined by family and friends. After the ceremony, guests adjourned to Villa Siena where a gorgeous reception was held. The color scheme created by Janet and Martin reflected their Chinese heritage with vibrant red, gold, and purple. The tables were splendid with Manzanita branch center pieces adorned with elegant purple orchids that were lit with tiny electric lights. Beautiful! Guests discovered a cookie cutter as their place card when they reached their tables. The cookie cutter was a hand with a heart in the middle this symbolized Janet and Martins faith and relationship. When it came time to cut the cake, the guests were delighted to learn about a family tradition of fruit cake made by Martins aunt. She flew back and forth from England twice to complete this fabulous cake! What a superb celebration full of tradition, friends, family, and love.
