Janella & Kurt ~ October 28, 2012

October 28, 2012 was a beautiful fall day for Janella and Kurt’s wedding. Some say love is infectious and this sentiment rang true as Janella and Kurt shared smiles, hugs and kisses throughout the day that sent love to all who saw them, a love Kurt fought for. During their first date at the Cheesecake Factory, Kurt kept trying to hold Janella’s hand but she wouldn’t give in to his charms. Some time passed before they traveled to Colorado together and Janella realized she couldn’t live without him. Their wedding was finally planned.

With a black, white and red theme, Janella chose a strapless gown with black lace detailing and a black chiffon sash around the waist. A bouquet of red roses brought color to the simple beauty of the look. The bride’s shoes were black satin with diamonds. To help everyone relax the bridesmaids shared a champagne toast before the ceremony. The bridesmaids brought a thrill of color through their strapless dresses with red corset tops overlaid by black lace and black skirts. While the groomsmen wore red ties, the groom also chose simple elegance with a striped grey and black tie and white shirt.

Fortunately, decorative packets of Kleenex wrapped with black lace were offered for the ceremony, as Janella and Kurt wrote personal vows that brought friends and family to tears with the beauty of the sentiments. Janella vowed “in all my life I never thought love could ever be like ours – since we met my dreams in life and in a partner have come true – you have the sweetest and most caring heart of anyone I have ever known and you show me that heart every day…”  Kurt’s vows revealed “once I found enough courage to finally talk to you, I fond a woman who is not only gorgeous and sexy but I also found the sweetest, most caring, most thoughtful and giving person I’ve ever met. Getting to know you over the last two and a half years has made me a better person. I love you for everything you are.”

The Officiant reminded the couple to continue to go on dates throughout their marriage. Everyone could see how perfect the match was. The Maid of Honor toasted: “Janella found what she thought was impossible to find – the perfect man.”

With flip flops for guests to dance in, a candy table with four kinds of popcorn and wedding cake with alternating black and white tiers of fondant flowers, the fun lasted until the Villa Siena traditional sparkler farewell.

Congratulations Janella and Kurt. May the smiles you shared on your wedding day be the same smiles you share fifty years from now. We wish you the best.
