Janell & Tom ~ March 17, 2012

With the luck of the Irish behind them, Janell and Tom were wed at Villa Siena on St. Patrick ’s Day, March 17, 2012.  Tom and Janell met at Olive & Ivy in Scottsdale, just after Janell had moved from Michigan.  To say the least, Tom knew what he wanted!  To incorporate the special day they met, they returned to Olive & Ivy for their engagement photos which they then incorporated into their darling guest book.   These two love birds stayed true to their “love bird” theme throughout the event.    Guests were invited to place gift cards in the pristine white birdcage complete with two lovebirds at the entry table.   During cocktail hour, place cards were attached to large birdcages and all the programs, napkins, menus, and table cards had silhouettes of two love birds.    Janell and Tom chose a color scheme of light pink and grey, such a soft and beautiful combination.    Janell’s  bouquet was a gorgeous arrangement of pale pink, ivory and white, all wrapped in a lovely bit of  lace taken from her mother’s wedding gown and attached with jewels taken from her sister’s wedding tiara.   What a creative way to incorporate family member’s weddings!  Janell and Tom’s  grand entrance into the ballroom was choreographed to “Sexy and I Know It”.  We sure all saw just how sexy they are! Wow!   To toast the happy couple, guests were given a class of green champagne while the Maid of Honor, and the Best Man each gave beautiful and heartwarming toasts.    Perfect for St. Patrick’s Day!  As part of Janell’s sorority tradition, Janell and Tom drank right out of a pair of sparkly purple shoes!    Because this was sure to be a major dance party, Janell and Tom provided dancing flip flops for everyone.  What a fun wedding.   We wish all the happiness in the world to Janell and Tom.  Congratulations!!
