Janea & Franco ~ November 30, 2012

Every now and then, a couple spices up the energy at the Villa. Janea and Franco did just that November 30th 2012. The couple added their own flair to the wedding through their style, their dancing and their celebration of love. To start the wedding ceremony, Janea’s four daughters sprinkled the aisle with petals for the bride while her son, Christopher, had the important job of ring bearer.

Underneath Janea’s fitted, beaded gown was a pair of turquoise satin shoes with open toes, a flower and ankle straps. She adorned the look with a headband and a half up-do with curls hanging down. Jewelry accessories were a diamond bracelet and drop earrings. Janea’s bouquet was white roses dotted with orange miniature roses. The bridesmaids wore turquoise dresses and expressed their individual style with the top part of each dress a slightly different design.

The groom waited at the altar in a traditional tuxedo with a white shirt and tie, flanked by his groomsmen in turquoise vests and ties with pale orange roses in their lapels.

Villa Siena was exquisitely decorated for the occasion. At the entrance, flower petals and candles in glass pillars welcomed guests.  Each glass pillar was wrapped in a turquoise bow. Flower balls were tied with orange ribbon on the seats closest to the aisle. At the altar, three candles sat wrapped in flowers with two tall-standing vases with elaborate flower arrangements at each end.

The couple, who were childhood friends that reconnected later on in their lives, exuded joy during the ceremony and reception.

As guests were ushered inside, a sign-in book with pictures of the couple greeted them. Each table had a turquoise runner on it and a tall-standing vase with flowers and candles. At each place setting was a card from the bride and groom, reading Thank you for loving us. -Forever grateful.

A Thousand Years by Christina Perry was the song for the first dance, then a slide show played to God Bless the Broken Road. Then the real fun began.

During the reception Janea changed into a red sequined dress and the groom changed into a black silk shirt with black slacks to perform a choreographed tango. Her children also changed into white and gold costumes and performed a choreographed dance to a compilation of songs including Going to the Chapel and Your Love is My Drug.

Even the cake was extravagant with four tall tiers wrapped in turquoise satin and embellished with fresh roses. On top two pink roses rested on one another.

For the farewell, the bride changed again, this time into a strapless white ruffled knee-length dress with a bow around a high waist. The couple enjoyed a traditional Villa Siena sparkler farewell.

Congratulations Janea and Franco. May you have a lifetime of happiness.
