Heather & Brian ~ April 1, 2012

Heather and Brian brought a little bit of Rock-n-Roll attitude to Villa Siena April 1, 2012. With a red, white and black color scheme, the couple brought so many personalized details to the ceremony and reception that we can confidently say this was a perfectly unique wedding. The bride’s full-length strapless gown with train was emboldened by a red sash that wrapped around her waist, was tied in a bow in a low V at the back of the dress before flaring out to end with the train of the dress. Under her dress was a little surprise – sneakers with argyle socks. For flowers, the bride chose a cascade bouquet that was embellished with roses, calla lilies and more. The bridesmaids wore red floor-length gowns with white accents; the inverse of what the bride was wearing. Wedding ceremonies are a celebration and Heather and Brian brought that sense of fun to theirs. The groom looked like a rock star in black tuxedo pants with white jacket, red vest and tie. He and the groomsmen wore black sneakers that matched the bride’s in style. The couple’s children played an important role in the wedding with their daughter as the flower girl and their son as the ring bearer. Both children matched their parent’s style in clothing, with their son wearing an identical white jacket and black pants to his father and their daughter in a white gown.  The sand ceremony incorporated red, black and white sands as the couple pledged themselves to one another. The Villa was decked out as well with floating rose candles in the fountain. The plates had black and red edging around a white center while a frosted goblet at each table held red and white flowers. The couple’s first dance won’t soon be forgotten as White Zombie’s More Human Than a Human played and the couple celebrated. The cake was an incredible four-tiered box cake with the layers set at different angles, two miniature boxes wrapped in fondant like presents with black bows and one box on an angle up against the main cake.  A few fresh red flowers completed the look.  One of our favorite details was the guest book, a leather-bound book, with each page containing four small envelopes so guests could write a letter, note or thought and seal it in the envelope.  Another unique detail was the party favors divided by men, women and children. The white boxes were wrapped with a red and black floral ribbon, while the men’s had a black and red polk-a-dot ribbon. The children’s gift bags were illustrated with a cartoon bride and groom. Congratulations Heather and Brian. It was a blast having you at the Villa. We wish you continued happiness in your lives together.
