“The Adventure Begins” For Erica and Jennifer

It’s been said that marriage is one of life’s greatest adventures. And back and February, Erica and Jennifer were more than ready to start this grand adventure together! This wonderful couple had a lovely purple-and-white wedding, during which they shared a little of life’s sweeter things with their friends and loved ones.

The wedding party was dressed in a variety of deep purple attire. On Erica’s side of the aisle, friends wore long purple gowns with assorted necklines. Jennifer’s friends wore sleek grey slacks, white button downs, and purple vests. And as for our brides, they both were dressed in their wedding-day whites — Erica wore a mermaid-style gown with an off-the-shoulder neckline and a long, lacy train, while Jennifer sported a classy white tux.

Guests gathered outside in the Plaza Toscana for the ceremony, which began with both brides walking down the aisle with their mothers. During the ceremony, the couple performed a handfasting ceremony with a vibrant red cord that symbolized their freewill, strength, and love. Once the couple had said “I do,” exchanged their rings, and sealed their union with a kiss, the guests celebrated by blowing bubbles!

At the reception, guests enjoyed a breakfast-themed menu of waffles, biscuits and gravy, potatoes, eggs, and chorizo. For dessert, guests could have their pick from a variety of mini-cinnamon rolls (catered by Cinna-holic). And of course, the reception was full of dancing; Erica and Jennifer did a choreographed dance to Ariana Grande and John Legend’s rendition of “Beauty and the Beast,” and they danced with their mothers to “Mama This One’s For You.”

Erica and Jennifer’s wedding was a wonderful celebration of the love that these two share — and it was clear throughout the event that they have a wonderful network of friends and family on their side. We think this adventure will be one they are sure to enjoy!
