Emily and Mario’s Lifetime of Romance Leads To A Gorgeous Day
Forget high school sweethearts — Emily and Mario met all the way back in junior high, and they both spent around six years with a bit of a crush. And all these years later, they joined us at Villa Siena to finally say “I do”! We were so happy to have them for their wonderful day of classic romance and sweet, modern touches. We loved the contemporary choice of forest green for the bridesmaids — and Mario definitely gets a mention for his classic black tux with the pop of matching green for the tie.
But Emily was clearly the star of the show, with a stunning lace dress. The short sleeves and the short veil, along with the classic lace, were just beautiful – and the florals of whites, pinks, and yellows added such a lovely, soft romance to the day.
As the reception kicked off, the guests were treated to some sophisticated (and delicious) Italian dishes and Emily’s father gave a blessing before the dinner, which was a great personal touch. The speeches really drove home just how special this couple is — and how their shared history has built such a strong foundation for their life together. From the best man talking about how similar they are to the maid of honor sharing stories of Mario from their own wedding, it’s clear they have such a strong support network. Everyone was overjoyed for them to finally tie the knot!
They shared a first dance to “For The Longest Time” — definitely an apt choice for this couple! — and the guests had an amazing night of dancing, gelato, and a classic sparkler exit. It’s been a long time in the making, and Emily and Mario have a lifetime of happiness ahead!
