Ellie & Phillip ~ February 17, 2012

February 17, 2012 will be a day to remember forever for Ellie and Phillip. On this day, they exchanged vows and committed to spend the rest of their lives together. We were so happy to share in the beautiful day with them. As guests entered the venue, they were asked to leave a special message for Ellie and Phillip on a lovely framed photo of the couple with a gorgeous hand painted peacock. Ellie and Phillip invited their guests to an outdoor ceremony where the aisles and fireplace were filled with lovely flower arrangements that all incorporated whimsical peacock feathers. During the cocktail hour, on display were the wedding gowns of Ellie’s grandmother as well as both mothers’. Family wedding photos were also on display, adding to the vintage feel of the event. After guests gathered in the ballroom for the reception, Ellie and Phillip made their grand entry to a Rolling Stones number and danced their first dance to “At Last,” asking everyone to join them. Blue peacocks continued to be seen throughout the reception with a lovely white three tier cake with blue peacock cake toppers . A second cake was designed as an x-box, clearly a groom’s cake for Phillip! The best man gave a very touching toast and gave the couple a bit of advice. “Love does not consist of gazing at each other, but looking outward together in the same direction.” Wise words! We wish Ellie and Phillip all the best as they share their life together. Congratulations!
