Diandra & Jonathan ~October 11, 2012

Diandra and Jonathan exchanged their wedding vows at Villa Siena October 11, 2012. When couples get married, little gestures, like a note of appreciation or acknowledgement of love, are sometimes all that are needed to keep a couple together for endless years. On their special day, Diandra gave Jonathan an embroidered handkerchief that read ‘Jonny, I am so happy to become your wife today. Thank you for always loving me and being the man of my dreams! I love you so much! Love, Sweet Didi – 10-11-12.’ Jonny presented Diandra with a wedding day gift and a card reading ‘To my beautiful bride.’

And Diandra was a beautiful bride. She chose a classic, timeless dress with a lace bodice, high waist and lace over-layer that fanned out at the bottom of the dress. A blusher veil finished the look. In keeping with the timeless theme, the bride’s bouquet was all white. Her shoes were blue with crystal bows. Bridesmaids wore black strapless above-the-knee dresses and carried bouquets of red roses with yellow floral accents.

The groom wore a traditional tuxedo for the ceremony. The entire look was clean elegance for their indoor wedding ceremony. Red flower petals lined the aisle with candles at the end of each row of chairs. Different tiers of candles were lit in the fireplace and a rectangular floral display of bright and deep red flowers ran along the top edge of the Villa’s altar.

At the reception, two signature drinks were offered to the guests: ‘The Jonny, a mix of Sierra Nevada beer and lemonade and ‘The blushing bride,’ a sweet concoction of champagne, peach schnapps and grenadine.  Mints were also available in tins that read ‘Mint to be.’

The photographer captured a sweet moment with the bride and groom holding an ampersand between them. Diandra and Jonny had plaques on the back of their chairs that read ‘Mr.’ and ‘Mrs.’ The cake was a simple design with diamond ribbon on each tier and fresh flowers on top. Military figures were also on the cake.

Favors were chocolate chip cookies in bags that read ‘The sweetest way to end the sweetest day. Love and Kisses, the newlyweds.’ Regular and chocolate milk were also available in glass jars.

A traditional Villa Siena sparkler farewell sent the couple off to their new life together. Congratulations Diandra and Jonathan. We wish you the best.
