Dawn & Richard ~ June 15, 2012

June 15th, 2012. As summer began to settle in at Villa Siena, Dawn & Richard joined us for their wedding ceremony and a champagne toast. The intimate celebration was filled with family and close friends, allowing the bride and groom time to enjoy everyone’s company. Dawn looked chic in a strapless embroidered gown with sequin detailing. The form-fitting dress was embellished with a flair of crinoline at the bottom that floated out into a modest train. A soft white sash rested just under the dress’ empire waist and was tied in a loose knot in back, trailing to the floor. Dawn paired the soft look of the dress with a beautiful chunky pearl and diamond necklace. Her hair was pulled off her face in front and pinned with soft curls flowing down her back. To help with the finishing touches before the ceremony began, Dawn’s mother zipped the bride into her dress. There is nothing like having someone who knows you better than anyone else in the world by your side before such a momentous occasion. The bride’s bouquet consisted of blushing roses with vibrant green leaves to edge it. The bridesmaids wore grey dresses with spaghetti straps tied with a sage green sash. The material was light and flowing, a great choice for summer weddings. Their bouquets were pure white roses. The groom embraced an all black ensemble with black button down shirt and dress pants. His dark looks paired with Dawn’s blonde hair and white dress created a stunning look as the couple posed together. To make guests comfortable during the ceremony, the couple made fans that were left at each seat. White rose petals paved the way along a white runner for Dawn’s walk down the aisle to her future husband. They could not have seemed happier as vows were exchanged. While the gathering may have been an intimate one, there was no lack of love and support and laughs, especially when one of the bridesmaids announced “the difference between a good man and a great man is, a great man has a great woman who makes him better. Dawn is that woman.” Richard took the quote in stride. The couple will no doubt continue to appreciate the contributions they can each make to one another’s lives as the years pass. Congratulations Dawn and Richard. May all of your days together be as happy as this one.
