Danielle & Nick ~ May 27, 2012

Family was an important element at Danielle and Nick’s wedding on May 27, 2012. Their support and love carried the day. The red, black and ivory color scheme added vibrancy to Villa Siena. The couple inverted the traditional red runner and white flower petals with a white runner edged with red rose petals. At the end of each row of chairs, three red roses were tied with black ribbons, while an exquisite red rose arrangement sat atop the alter with softly glowing candles serving as bookends for the look. On the grounds, flowers were also blooming, creating a stunning backdrop for photo opportunities.  Danielle chose a wedding gown with sheer lace at the neck and upper portion of the gown, flowing into a smooth satin skirt. Her blonde hair was swept off her face with her veil attaching under the bun, allowing her smile to shine. A delicate tiara added a touch of light and sparkle. The bouquet was a simple yet fetching arrangement of red roses wrapped with white ribbon. On the bottom of Danielle’s shoes, a touch of sweet sentiment was placed with a monogrammed A’s on both shoes and an ‘I’ on the one and ‘Do’ on the other. The bridesmaids wore black strapless dresses with their hair styled in half up-do’s. They also had red rose bouquets. With an engraved flask utilized before the wedding, the groom was relaxed in his black tuxedo and black tie, while his groomsmen flanked him with white shirts, white ties, black vests and red roses in their lapels. The couple was all smiles during the ceremony. Every consideration was taken for the guests with fans on each chair to keep people cool during the ceremony. To celebrate the newly married couple, little bells were placed at each guest’s seat during the reception. Ringing of the bell resulted in a kiss from the newlyweds. Danielle and Nick’s first dance was to Wayne Brady’s Ordinary, followed by the father/daughter dance, the background of which was a medley of songs crafted by the bride. The mother/son dance was Mama by B.J. Thomas. For dinner, a buffet was filled with chicken piccata with lemon and caper sauce, cheese ravioli with tomato basil sauce and penne pasta with a creamy four-cheese sauce. A special kids meal was prepared for younger guests. Speeches were touching with a friend of the bride delivering a multi-page speech and the best man bringing laughs to the evening. The favors were boxes filled with Andes Mints and sealed with a note from the couple. The cake was a red velvet cake and fit in perfectly with the couple’s color scheme. The front facing portion of the cake was designed to look like a shirtfront with a flowing bow on the upper tier and buttons and ruffles down the front of the cake. Guests celebrated the day and we were so fortunate to be a part of their memorable day. We wish you the best for the future. Congratulations Danielle and Nick.
