Cynthia & Michael ~ May 20, 2012

Every wedding at Villa Siena has a unique flourish and charm that we remember long after the day has passed. Cynthia and Michael brought their personalities to the wedding from their style of dress to the details of the reception. Everyone was charmed. Cynthia’s bridesmaids were on hand to perfect every detail of the bride’s ensemble before the ceremony. Also in attendance was the bride’s mother, whose  love and pride for her daughter was evident. The bride sparkled, as every woman should, in a gown accented with beaded detailing that shimmered in the light and mirrored the sparkle in Cynthia’s eyes. She looked like a princess with sweetheart neckline, full skirt and white-heeled shoes. A diamond hair clip was an elegant accessory for the bride’s up-do, while a few curls were left loose around Cynthia’s face. Her crystal-edged veil completed the look. The bouquet was a mix of white roses and peonies. The bridesmaids brought a burst of color with strapless above-the-knee fuchsia dresses that wrapped around the front. The dresses added a fun edge to the look of the bridal party, and their bouquets, brought together with fuchsia peonies and green accents, established the color scheme that was set for the day. The flower girl wore a white dress with a fuchsia sash. The groom, Michael, opted for a classic white tie, white vest and shirt. His loving energy was felt all around. The officiant read the poem Loving Somewhere before the couple exchanged personalized vows. To lighten the mood there was a reading from Adam Sandler’s The Wedding Singer. The couple had a candle ceremony where a unity candle was lit. The couple originally met through the bride’s sister and family was clearly a part of this celebration. The wedding party made their grand entrance to The Black Eyed Peas, before the mood sweetened. Cynthia and Michael executed rehearsed dance moves to Adele’s version of Lovesong. After the couple’s first dance, Be Our Guest from Beauty and the Beast played as salads were served. A slideshow of the couple ran during the reception, capturing the couple’s past. To remember the day, personalized coasters were the favors but also doubled as placecards. We thank the couple for sharing their day with us and wish the couple happiness in their future together.
