Claudia & Randall ~ April 1, 2016

April-Wedding-Reception (12)

Claudia and Randall met through a mutual friend, and no joke they were married on April 1, 2016.

Claudia donned a heavily beaded sweetheart-cut wedding gown with thin straps, a bejeweled belt, and a trumpet hem – topped with a floor-length sheer veil. Her three bridesmaids modeled grey, tea-length dresses and stood atop matching t-strap heels. All bridal party members were holding posy-knotted bouquets of white hydrangeas, light pink roses, and ranunculus.

Randall wore a black suit with a white dress shirt and bowtie. His three groomsmen followed the same path, sporting black suits and white shirts, only with dove-gray bowties. All modeled silver sport wristwatches.

Claudia and Randall’s outdoor wedding ceremony featured a reading; a poem by Cheryl Barclay titled “The One.” The couple shared sweet words, and the officiant talked about what a big step marriage is, and how important it is to love each other unconditionally – ending it all with a prayer to bind them together in God’s love.

A dinner was later served, starting with a plated salad of mixed greens and goat cheese crumbles – followed by creamy Parmesan risotto, steamed vegetables, beef wellington, and prosciutto stuffed chicken.

The round, three-tiered wedding cake was incredibly eye catching, starting with a textured bottom layer simulating pink roes. The middle tier was coated in gray confetti clots, and a top tier of white, detailed icing – all capped with a cluster of white and pink roses.

During toasts, the Best Man and brother to the groom Brad gave his congratulations, and welcomed Claudia to the family. The Maid of Honor Missy expressed how honored she was to watch Claudia and Randall grow in their relationship, and wished the new couple the best. Randall also gave a toast, having a few more kind words to say about his new wife, and thanked friends and family for joining them that day.

Claudia and Randall’s first dance was to “How Long I Will Love You” by Ellie Goulding, performed by Sara Vannell. Guests were granted mini jars of honey with cork coasters, and Claudia and Randall gave special gifts to the guests who were the first to RSVP.
