Christine & Ricardo ~ December 2, 2012

December 2, 2012 was a bright and beautiful day for Christine and Ricardo’s wedding at Villa Siena. Christine’s joy showed as she walked down the aisle in a gown with spaghetti straps. Beaded detailing throughout the bodice and a full skirt that was tucked with diamonds to create flow accentuated the bride’s silhouette. The bride’s bouquet was filled with pale pink, white and brown flowers. Greenery finished the look. A blusher veil was worn as Christine’s father walked her down the aisle. Both were feeling the emotions of the day. The maid of honor wore a pale pink floor-length gown while the bridesmaids wore light green dresses in the same style. Bridesmaid’s bouquets were similar to the bride’s but slightly smaller. Ricardo waited for his bride in a tuxedo with white shirt and tie, while the groomsmen stood by their friend in black tuxedos with green ties. The best man wore a pink tie.

The couple was married at the outdoor altar, which was decorated with a variety of pink flowers. At the reception, the bride and groom were surprised with a name spotlight that lit the wall with the couple’s names and date of marriage. Guests were greeted with a guest book and photos of the couple before they made their way into the dining room. Christine and Ricardo thanked family and friends for coming. Afterwards, the Ricardo thanked Christine’s father for allowing him to marry his daughter. Ricardo promised to take care of Christine until the day he died and if necessary, said he would be willing to die for her.

The speeches were just as touching with the best man talking about lasting friendships. The maid of honor, who was the sister of the bride, told Christine what she meant to her and chocked up during the speech.

After the dinner was over, the couple brought laughter to friends and family by playing the Newlywed Game. The couple was each given one of the bride’s shoes and one of the groom’s shoes. They sat back to back and in response to questions they raised the shoe for the person who fit the answer best.

An anniversary dance was held to Nat King Cole’s Unforgettable where couples that have been together dance the longest. Favors were boxes of candy from a candy table that had M&Ms, chocolate colored pretzels, lollipops and more, all colored to match the color scheme of the day.

Congratulations Christine and Ricardo. We wish you the best.
