Catrina & Ronnie ~ May 28, 2016

View More: http://reneeclancy.pass.us/fastCatrina and Ronnie met while working together at First Solar, starting dating in March of 2013, were engaged by June 5, 2015, and married on May 28, 2016.

Catrina modeled a Sottero and Midgley sleeveless wedding gown with a deep V-neck and an A-line skirt with a corset back. A lengthy sheer veil was pinned in her hair, and she clutched a burlap-tied bouquet of white and peach roses with baby’s breath. Her brides donned floor length tan gowns with halter straps, and held bouquets of white and pink roses.

Ronnie sported gray slacks with a white dress shirt and tan vest, complete with a blue, cross-stitch patterned necktie. His groomsmen donned gray slacks with white dress shirts and neckties, and tan suspenders. A white rose ornamented Ronnie’s vest, and one suspender of each groomsman. Each man also wore camouflage dress socks.

During the outdoor ceremony, the ring bearer was more of a ring security boy – carrying a briefcase handcuffed to his wrist and sporting sunglasses, which was a surprise to Ronnie. Catrina and Ronnie wrote their own vows. The officiant went through the story of how they met. There were also personal fans that doubled as a program.

Dinner started with a salad of mixed greens and goat cheese with balsamic dressing. Chicken and beef were served with carrots and twice baked potatoes. The four-tiered cake was dressed in light, white frosting, which showed the bare cake in streaks, creating a rustic effect. Coral and white roses adorned the layers, and a black “Mr. & Mrs. Fast” cake topper crowned the top layer. Dessert also included a s’more bar.

During toasts, Ronnie first welcomed the crowd. One of the bridesmaids Samantha used to live with Catrina, and toasted to love and laughter. One of the groomsmen knew Catrina and Ronnie before they were together, and recounted their love story for the guests.

Catrina and Ronnie’s First Dance was to Eric Church’s “Like Jesus Does,” followed by a Father/Daughter Dance and Mother/Son Dance. Guests were encouraged to use the hashtag #twofast2016 when sharing photos on social media.

We wish all the best to the new Mr. and Mrs. Fast.
