Candice & Paul ~ March 24, 2018

Candice and Paul, who met at work, were married on March 24, 2018.

Candice looked lovely in a strapless fit-and-flare trumpet gown with a train, sweetheart neckline, and embellished overlay. Her bouquet was composed of artificial blooms in shades of white, pink, red, and more. Her four bridesmaids wore coordinating burgundy full-length gown with individual necklines. They carried smaller versions of the bride’s bouquet.

Paul got married in a black tuxedo with a burgundy vest, burgundy bow tie, burgundy pocket square, and red rose boutonniere. His four groomsmen wore black tuxedos with burgundy vests, burgundy ties, burgundy pocket squares, and red rose boutonnieres.

Ceremony

During the ceremony, the officiant told the couple that he hoped their love would only grow from this day forward, and that the promises they make to each other can only be kept with the presence of God in their lives.

Reception

Inside at the reception, guests enjoyed a meal of salad with berries and raspberry vinaigrette; grilled Atlantic salmon; slow-roasted prime rib; creamy mashed potatoes; and fresh green beans.

During the speeches, the best man joked that Candice is the only person who Paul treats with love and kindness. The maid of honor advised Paul to admit when he is wrong, and stay quiet when he is right.

Paul and Candice danced for the first time as man and wife to “You’re the Inspiration” by Chicago. Candice and her father danced to “Butterfly Kisses” by Bob Carlisle. Paul and his mother danced to “What a Wonderful World” by Louis Armstrong.

The wedding cake was three tiers done in white and decorated to look like pink drapery accented with flowers.

We wish the happy couple a long and beautiful life together!
