In the ceremony, the officiant told the couple that marriage is “telling the person you love that you’re in it to win it every day, no matter what.” Tyler and Brittany performed a cord-tying ceremony to symbolize the joining of their lives; the officiant said that the spaces in the knot represent the space the couple have to still be individuals.

During the speeches, the maid of honor congratulated the couple and said she knew they would be happy together. The best man thanked the bride’s family for putting the wedding together, and complimented the groom on his choice of bride. Brittany’s father reflected on how he watched his daughter grow up, and how every moment of her life brought her to that night.
