Brandy & Philip ~ September 15, 2013

An outdoor ceremony and reception were held for Brandy and Philip at Villa Siena September 15, 2013. The couple shares an interest in gaming and met through a connection with Dungeons and Dragons.

The bride looked like a fairytale in a satin dress with beaded detailing. The gown laced up in the back with black ribbon. Her hair was worn off her face with a diamond necklace. A tiara and veil completed her look for the ceremony. The bride and bridesmaids carried bouquets of blue and white delphinium and carnations. Bridesmaids wore navy blue strapless gowns.

Philip wore a grey tuxedo with satin piping, a white shirt and tie and wore his hair in a ponytail. At his side were his groomsmen who wore black tuxedos with blue vests and ties. A sand ceremony was held as part of the wedding ceremony.

Brandy’s engagement ring was a sapphire surrounded on each side by a diamond while her wedding band was a beautiful leaf-like creation. That color theme was incorporated into the celebration.

While the cake may sound traditional with chocolate layers and raspberry and cookies and cream filling, the design was anything but ordinary. Inspired by the videogame Portals, the cake design was on its side being sucked through a portal into another dimension. The traditional with the non-traditional made this cake a hit!

Toasts were given and each member of the bridal party was given a special flute to toast with.

For the first dance the couple took the dance floor to It’s Your Love followed by the father/daughter dance to I Loved Her First and the mother/son dance to Somewhere Over the Rainbow.

Guests were sent home with white boxes tied with blue ribbons, with sweet chocolate treats inside.

Congratulations Brandy and Philip. May your love span infinite dimensions of time and space. We wish you the best.
