Bernadette & Marcus ~ January 1st, 2016

IMG_0106Bernadette and Marcus originally met in high school. They married January 1st, 2016 at Villa Siena. The gates at the entrance of the Villa were decorated with the first letters of the bride and groom’s names.

To marry the love her life, Bernadette chose a gown from David’s bridal that was designed with a beaded bodice and ruffled skirt. A diamond necklace and diamond drop earrings embellished the ensemble and added sparkle. The bride wore her hair in a bun adorned with a lace-edged veil and fresh purple flowers. She carried a bouquet of violet and pale purple roses. Marcus groom wore a military uniform.

To start the ceremony, two flower girls sparkled in their violet gowns studded with crystals as they made their way down the aisle. Then all attention turned to the bride as Bernadette’s mother walked her down the aisle. The bride’s mother wore a purple gown with a purple flower tucked behind her ear.

The couple had an intimate reception and dined at their own private table, which was decorated with a Mr. and Mrs. sign.  After dinner wedding cake was served. The cake was three tiers of round cake decorated with rose swirls on the top tier, piping on the second tier and a ruffled pattern on the bottom tier. Each tier was embellished with purple fondant flowers.

For their first dance the couple chose Bryan Adams’ I Do It For You. As part of the reception the groom and his daughter sang All I Am as the groom played the guitar. One of the couple’s guests sang at both the ceremony and reception. The night ended with a signature sparkler farewell.

Congratulations Bernadette and Marcus. May all of your dreams come true. We wish you the best.
