A Match(.com) Made in Heaven
When Ashley and Robert first met online, it was clear that there would be instant chemistry IRL. After texting for a while, they finally met for coffee… where they ended up chatting for hours! So, it was no surprise to their loved ones when they finally decided to tie the knot.
The couple’s January wedding was a sweet affair decorated in shades of blush and powder blue. The bridesmaids wore long, light blue gowns, complete with bouquets made from eucalyptus leaves and white and pink roses. The groomsmen wore navy blue suits with powder blue bow ties, while Robert set himself apart with a white bow tie.
Of course, no one’s outfit was more astonishing than our bride, Ashley. Her a-line gown by Essense of Australia featured a lace-covered v-neck bodice, a long flowing train, and gorgeous floral embroidery throughout. With her long veil, curled hair, and stunning smile, she truly looked like something out of a fairy tale!
The ceremony was full of fun, lighthearted moments, as well as some traditional elements. The officiant shared sweet stories about the couple’s romance, and a few loved ones read scripture passages. Finally, the couple said their vows and shared a kiss — and the new Mr. and Mrs. Creighton became husband and wife.
The reception took place inside, where guests enjoyed a plated dinner of mixed green salad, carrots and pear tomatoes, herb roasted potatoes, green beans, and a choice of beef tenderloin or salmon with hollandaise sauce. Ashley and Robert shared their first dance (to Kenny Chesney’s “Me and You”) before dancing with their parents and hearing speeches from their loved ones.
Throughout the evening, it was clear that Ashley and Robert are a fun-loving couple. We were so happy to be part of their special day, and we wish them many happy years to come!
