A simple swipe right on Tinder was the beginning of a forever love story for Ashley and Cory, who were married on August 15, 2021.
Ashley dazzled in an off-the-shoulder fit-and-flare lace gown with a sweetheart neckline, jeweled belt detail, and a train. Her accessories included a pendant necklace, drop earrings, and a hip-length veil. Her bouquet was composed of roses in shades of pink, ivory, and white, accented with baby’s breath and greenery. Her seven bridesmaids wore matching black off-the-shoulder full-length dresses. They carried bouquets of blue hydrangeas and baby’s breath.
Cory wore a pink blazer with black lapels and piping with a black vest, black shirt, black bow tie, black pocket square, and a baby’s breath boutonniere. His five groomsmen wore black suits with black vests, black shirts, blue bow ties, blue pocket squares, and baby’s breath boutonnieres. His groomswoman wore a sleeveless full-length black dress with a V neckline and carried a bouquet to match the bridemaids.
A friend of the family performed the ceremony.
Afterward, guests enjoyed a buffet-style meal of Caesar salad, spring mix salad, pasta rustico, pasta primavera, Tuscan chicken, and lemon chicken. The wedding favors were “test tubes” containing honey sticks.
Ashley’s twin sister and Cory’s brother both toasted the newlyweds.
Cory and Ashley’s first dance as man and wife was to “Known” by Tauren Wells. Ashley also shared a special dance with her father. Other wedding fun included an anniversary dance, a bouquet toss, and the shoe game.
The wedding cake was a one-tier white cylinder cake with a floral design; guests enjoyed cupcakes decorated in white and shades of blue.
